This tour offers a guided panoramic sightseeing with the perfect combination of history, nature, adventure and fun. 

Timetable

• DEPARTURE TIME: 8:30 am
• SAN FERNANDO FORTRESS ON BOCACHICA ISLAND: our tour guide narrates the history of this fortress, which defended Cartagena from corsairs and pirates for many years.
• ROSARIO ISLANDS: we take a panoramic tour of the 27 Rosario Islands on our boat, with a cultural overview provided by our tour guide.
• TRANSFER TO THE AQUARIUM OR SNORKELING AT CORAL REEFS: we provide snorkeling gear for surface diving at the coral reefs or transfer to the aquarium (entrance not included). There is just one hour available for either one of these activities. For snorkeling, the guide provides snorkeling gear on a loan basis. If lost, the tourist is responsible for replacement This 45-minute activity is accompanied by the guide and requires mandatory life vest use, subject to sea conditions.

• SNORKELING AT THE SUBMERGED AIRPLANE:  This 15-minute activity involves observing a submerged airplane at a depth of 7 meters using snorkeling gear. Note: This activity is subject to sea conditions, and the captain or guide makes the decision.
• LUNCH IN A PRIVATE ISLAND: enjoy a delicious lunch with various protein options on this private island. There’s also time for a sea bath and considerable rest.

CHOLON ISLAND: spend 45 minutes on this public island for a sea bath and a festive moment.  Cholón is a public island known for parties, where locals offer crafts and massage services.

• QUIET BEACH, BARU ISLAND: Spend 45 minutes on this last island for a sea bath. Similar to Cholón, be cautious with card payments; it’s advisable to carry cash.
• BIOLUMINESCENT PLANKTON ACTIVITY: at 6:30 pm, get on board to the boat going to the enchanted lagoon of Baru to witness one of nature’s most beautiful phenomena. This phenomenon is best observed under suitable moon conditions.
• RETURN: 7:30 pm by bus from Barú to the hotels.

Before you go:

• First stop of the buses starts at 9 am from La Bodeguita Pier.
• Port taxes for Full day in Rosario Islands are not included. You must pay for it at time to embark in La Bodeguita Pier (USD 12 aprox. per person) 
• Full day in Rosario Islands is for adults only. Children are not allowed to do it.
• The full day in Rosario Islands does not provide towels so you are allow to bring your own
• Depending on weather conditions, the boat captain decides whether to complete the entire panoramic tour or just a part of it.
